Londontown.

I’m surprised at how quickly the week is going already. Things seem to pass by so much quicker when you cram quite a bit into a day or are always on the move. Guess the day just seems slightly fuller as you have more reference of what you got up to or where you have been.

Been travelling down the country visiting people with a cozy stop in Liverpool with the relatives, then visiting Jacob and Mari for a great night out in Oxford. Then got the bus down to London last night with a good 1 hour delay to get us in the right frame of mind for transport in India.

Nearly ready to head out into London today for a bit of a wander, reflections of old times and a few after-work drinks tonight with our hosts  somewhere in the West End. Looks like a true British winter day is upon us with sideways rain, howling wind and planes screeching overhead towards their touchdown at Heathrow…

… And we are back, thanks for tuning in!

Well, its been many many months since my last blog entry. Bascially, I didn’t have much to say or the time to write something I wasn’t sure if people would read. But now, with one day of work left and an impending 5 month trip coming up, it’s a little different. I intend it to be a summary of my travels, observations and experiences. Something to keep safe on the web along the way and collate when I settle once again (Canadian Visa pending). Realistically, I wouldn’t expect it to last much past the trip itself, so enjoy it while it lasts :)
